To Start up with Iam posting a few easy to cook and yummy to eat recipes....
The first one "Rava Dosa"
This is one of the simplest yet delicious dosa I have ever eaten.
Ingredients
Rava(Sooji) - 2 cups
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Buttermilk - 1/2 cup
Ginger - 1 inch chopped or u can use the paste, but I prefer the chopped ones
Green chillies - 5-6, if u want it less spicy add upto 4
Curry leaves - 8-10, finely chopped
Cumin seeds(jeera) - 1 tbsp
salt - to taste
oil
Method :
- Mix the rava, rice flour and buttermilk with sufficient water. Try not to make the batter very thick or very thin.
- I would seggest, mix this first and then chop the ginger, chillies, and curry leaves.
- Then mix all of these to the batter.
- Add sufficient salt.
- Keep it aside for an hour, however if you dont have that much time, u can use it immediately. Now heat the pan, grease with oil. Then pour the batter at the centre of the pan and spread it around. Add some oil around the dosa on the pan.
- Cook till crisp and brown.
- Serve with Chutney.
